Just got this email (that was the subject) and a link to a google map:

Also, I did a google maps search on IAMBLIND, and got this map http://tinyurl.com/4oyagq It shows 3 points all in LA that relate to the videos. Don’t know if that has been found before…

I read your other posts on here and i am confused…. Can you guys fill me in on what’s going on here so far? Maybe then i’ll know why i got this creepy email and know what the map is…

ah, most of us are kind of transfering from here people have recieved different emails from what I can gather, it has been links to that map, one saying “Audrey can see” (I think) and one that says “The next shipment will come to you.
Help the others who come to the ward in the meantime. They will need answers.”
and there was also audrey’s post (I think she is the only arg personality we have communicated with, apart from whoever writes at 1003@iamblind.org).
and if you haven’t yet, mouse over the “I am blind” graphic at the top of the page to hear that weird audio clip. Dunno if you knew most of this or not, but I hope it helps someone.

ok- listen to the audio…. i can here a lot of voices but the most distinct is saying “The last thing i want to see is?”.... And the others are like talking about random stuff (can’t make out everything)... So, are we supposed to maybe write the last thing we would want to see if we died?


Why did i get this email? Is everyone here in North Carolina too? What does the map mean?

Im in ferndale, Washington. We don’t really know what the audio is, but the original IMB site was just that logo filling up teh whole screen, and the voices played. The a day or so later the forums opened. This is a pretty new game, so if you are feeling lost, its alright, none of us are 100% sure of anything. :D

Thx for that, Cole and Amandel. So, i saw your stuff on the Unfiction Forum you linked to… that explains some of it. Ok- i’m not really familiar with ARG to be honest. But, i do think it’s pretty cool and I seem to be learning here. Any idea what we should next? I’m happy to follow your lead. And i am soooo curious!

Hmmm… how long after you guys sent your initial e-mails did you get replys? I sent mine 2-3 days ago, haven’t gotten one yet, just my forum activation.

mine was like 24 hours. But I am not going to get any mail until at least monday because no mail on sunday :_( I wonder if we should just wait until we get out snail mail. Its weird, because anything I send to 1003@iamblind.org bounces, but I still got a response..
but we have also gotten 2 or 3 links to that google map with the eye on it, and things that say help me see you. Seems relevant, but I don’t know how.
[Edit] Looking at that map, the marker that is the pupil is labeled “You”. Somehting like “I am the pupil”? Someone mentioned that on the unfiction forums. Or even better “Eye am the pupil” heh, I just blew my own mind!

One more thought. It seems like we are getting new players every few hours, which is perfectly awesome! It might be worth some time to condense all the links, info, and clues that we have gathered between here and unfiction into a single thread for new users to peruse. Maybe also include a timeline and just some background info. It seems like the more well-informed players, the better.

coljnr9- i think that’s a GREAT idea. Can you put it up on this forum? I’m not a member of Unfiction and it’d be cool for confused people (like me) to see that when they get linked here. Maybe we can make a new topic called “clues” or something and just post there when we know something….? i dunno… like i said, i’m a newb to ARG.

Do they want my physical address? Did anyone send in theirs? I want to get something in the mail if that’s the case…

I sent mine, and it didn’t bounce, so we’ll see. I also got a response email a day later that said something was going to be sent to me, and I was to hang tight and help new people in “The Ward”.

I sent my first e-mail 2-3 days ago with my address. I’m pretty sure it didn’t bouce back, but I also never got a response. I tried sending a few more just now, and they all bounced back.

Hey, Jones here. One of the newbies; I got the Google “eye” map today out of the blue.
I for one would love to hear a bit more about what others have gotten in their inbox. coljnr9’s suggestion of a “clues” thread would be pretty fantastic. I’ve unearthed a few things this afternoon that I’m not sure has been discussed yet, though perhaps in the other forum that’s been mentioned…

just saw the map, but really dont get it xD “you” is the Statue of Liberty with its eyes covered and around “you” are 14 “i am blind” each of them with the same pupil image, my mind is blank

thinking that there’s a pattern… in the map the Statue of Liberty has the eyes covered just as the Virgin Mary at the right side of this forum, just that maybe its nothing… but, who knows, and BTW why this forum has an image of the Virgin Mary?? knowing that may help

I think we send our physical address in and maybe get something in the mail (this was said on Unfiction forums)... Also, it’s just over the USA- anyone have ideas about that? If someone else said that already, sorry for being a newb…

I don’t think that’s the Virgin Mary. She never shows her hair in the statues at my church. Just a thought.

boomer52- I thought the same but then the idea of the Virgin Mary came to me xD maybe Audrey is disguising.

I think the image on the stamp may be merely nice graphic design; stamps featuring the statue of liberty are pretty common, so conveying the concept of blindness by putting a blindfold on a common iconic image, such as a liberty-head stamp, well, that may be all it is.
As for why I got the email, bemily… I dunno. The address I got it at was not my super-personal account, so I knew immediately it wasn’t just from a close friend. Also, I’m almost positive that whoever is behind this is in LA (and not just because of that googlemap with the three flags). I do occasionally get promo materials from media-type folks, or I might have been added by an old friend or acquaintance who doesn’t have my new info. Though honestly, if that were the case, I feel like I would have gotten invited in with the first batch, rather than just being added with the googlemap wave. Who knows? It’s a big mystery.

Bemily, as you’ve read, some people have gotten emails because they’ve written that email address or are connected to “solving mysteries”. Do you have any idea why you received this email?
Oh, and I hope this is not only for the US – i’m in Europe and I sent them my mailing address.

Is there anyone who _italics_hasn’t sent their mailing address? If you are outside the US, its still worth a try, but if you don’t get anything when the rest of us do, Ill be sure to upload scans/photos/videos, depending on what they send me. The more players the better.
